There are protests forming all over the country in protest of the election of Donald J. Trump. The largest being in Washington D.C. Since many obviously cant make it to D.C. but still want to protest this atrocity, we will be gathering here in KC as well.

This protest is anti-trump, but it is more than just that. It is about sending a clear message on the day of his Inauguration that we do not support his presidency. It is sending the message that we all stand in solidarity against the hate he has spewed and we will continue to do so. It is sending a message that we will come together to fight against the oppression of marginalized communities. Most importantly it is showing those marginalized communities that we stand with them, and will fight with them.

We will be gathering at the yard across the street from the Union Station and marching to city hall. If anyone is interested in helping organize, volunteering, or helping in any way please contact me.

We’re looking for an ASL interpreter, please let us know if you’re interested in volunteering to help.
